SUMMER EVENTS, NOT JUST FOOD FESTIVALS: POPSOPHIA!
It's time for festivals and selective food binges. The audience of Popsophia, who loves to nibble food, has been pampered by four-starred chefs. So much for cecapreti (a variety of pasta) and duck sauce...
Popsophia is the Festival of Contemporary Philosophy organized in the Marche region, and over the years it has become the most important cultural event of the area (at least considering the rating of the participants and the importance achieved on national media).
Philosophy offers keys that the speakers use to reinterpret the events through pop culture and modernity. At first sight, it might appear disengaged but hides substrates full of meanings that Popsophia’s evenings bring to light.
This year the topic is the dream, and the title will be “Dreams are my reality”. Among the many cultural events organized (have a look at the program for the full agenda), there will also be four food stands managed by starred chefs, all linked to the culinary traditions of the region.
So, on August 2-3-4-5, in Civitanova Alta, there will also be Paolo Mazzieri, Rosaria Morganti, Michele Biagiola and Errico Recanati.
You will not find the usual chefs presentations that you might already know. Those that look like the descriptions of the dog breeds, where dogs are all smart and friendly with children and the cooks are innovative and respectful of the tradition.

The official wine of the cultural event is the Ribona from Tenuta Fontezoppa, a winery founded in 1999 and dedicated to the promotion of typical wines from the Marche region.
